About

Curious people. Useful things. Plenty to explore.

Digital Builders Community is a place to learn, experiment and enjoy creating things with other people. Websites, apps, tools and small businesses all start with someone wondering what they could make.

Why I’m building this

I’m Chris Good. I work across web design, development and SEO, and I create tools that grow out of the way I work.

I’ve spent plenty of time delivering client projects, solving technical problems and exploring ways to make the process better. Along the way, I started building my own apps too.

What excites me now is how much opportunity there is to explore an idea for yourself. Modern web tools and AI can help us try things that once felt out of reach. There’s a real sense of possibility in that.

I wanted somewhere to share the process, teach what I know and keep learning with other people. Somewhere we can ask questions, show unfinished work, support each other and enjoy discovering what we can do.

Become your own client

We spend a lot of time helping other people bring their ideas to life. There’s value in giving our own ideas that same care.

You might want to test a microsite, build a tool for your business or finally make the website you’ve been thinking about. A small project gives you room to practise, make decisions and learn from something you own.

That spirit runs through the community. Bring your client work, bring your experiments and give yourself permission to explore.

The tools I build

  • FEWD Studio

A visual development environment for working with websites and code. It brings structure, styling and preview together, helping you explore and shape a project while keeping access to the underlying files.

  • GenCSS

A design system generator for creating CSS tokens, colour scales, responsive typography and reusable utilities. A way to give your designs a consistent foundation and take the generated CSS into your projects.

  • Boosh

The home for my growing collection of tools and experiments, including projects such as BooshDesign, BooshSEO, BooshSSG and BooshCMS. They come from exploring how we can build, edit and manage digital projects more comfortably.

I’ll share lessons from building these tools as part of the wider conversation. You’re welcome to bring the tools and workflows you already use. Software purchases and licences have their own terms.

Build in the open, together

Share the first attempt. Ask the question. Explain how you solved something. Give someone else a useful piece of feedback.

The community is a place to make that process visible to each other. Members choose what they share, and client work can be anonymised. Public videos and selected projects will also give people outside the community a window into what we’re exploring.

We’re early. There’s room to help shape the conversations, challenges and projects that come next.
